Choose the right insurance

Choosing a health insurance can be complex but for most people it is necessary as part of living. There are so many options to choose from different types of health insurance, whether you are looking for an individual or for your family. It is always best to compare one company to another to meet your needs and to have a insurance quote because some companies offer low rates but behind that they charge people with other unnessecary fees. Since nowadays medical treatment has become increasingly unaffordable especially for those who are affected by recession.

She loves to read

Yes she likes to read. I'm actually starting to teach her to read simple words and her vocabulary is improving a lot. She can even recognize some of the alphabet letters.

watch your food intakes this holiday season

It's the season that everyone is looking forward, a festive of scrumptious foods. We all know that during this holiday season everyone is all out in eating and I am one of them but since I became a weight conscious I usually watch my food intake because it's not easy to have a quick weight loss but thanks to my friends who recommend a good way to loosen up those extra fats.

Need more blog visitors?

I know it can be quite troublesome if you're a newbie blog writer and you can't get enough people to visit your site; I experienced that in my early days. One thing that can help you are sites which specialize in directory submissions. You can't believe how much more people I was able to draw to my site once I submitted it in numerous directories. It's just like putting your site in the yellow pages so that people will know that it exists and the good thing about it is that it's free. So for those bloggers who are starting out now, this is the best tip you can get from me :p Tell me how it goes!

Be careful...

My friend’s daughter while playing Frisbee, was kicked accidentally by another player at the knee! Good thing nothing was dislocated but her knee needs a supporter and she needs some knee pain treatment but after all that, she’s going to be fine. It’s scary though because she was hit at a vital body part, I mean if you tore a ligament there, surgery then would be the only option. I’m so thankful that her daughter is doing well. Better take more care with your knees my fellow readers.

My Suzy Snowflake

my 1st-grader's little Christmas presentation at School. It was participated by 1st grades to 2nd grades. It was my hubby who went to school cos I was with Freya at her pedia's clinic. My hubby only took few videos and pictures cos kids were busy to go back to their regular classes. It was a regular school day during that day so parents were not actually invited.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Clothes could be a nice gift....

It’s Christmas! So what are you going to give to your loved ones? The usual tie for your dad and flowers for your mum? When choosing Christmas presents, I always look for the practicality in it. These presents, they should be cute and they can be used regularly so that they won’t go to waste. Figurines aren’t that high on my list because they’re for decorations only and what if the person you’re giving doesn’t have space for it? It’ll just be a waste. Best things to get are clothes like from Free People where they have a wide selection but be wary of clothes, you should know the right body type and size and see if it matches the personality. It’ll just offer some challenge. But clothes in my opinion are the most practical gifts.

Our little christmas village

my husband's idea. He loves christmas village the first time he saw it at her sister's work 3 yrs ago. I kind of like it. We might start collecting stuff for christmas village for next christmas. This would be the start of our tradition making our christmas village bigger each year.

some love winter some dont...

It’s Christmas time again! Don’t you just love the cold winter breeze? The first drop of snowflake, the first feel of clashing skates and ice. Don’t you just love it? But apparently some people still crave the warm weather such as those who are afraid to turn as white as a vampire (like a super white Edward Cullen). They want all inclusive cancun vacations and try to get a tan even in December and January. With the invention of airplanes, now staying brown has become possible!

As for me, I always like snows but hate the cold grrr... I wish I and the kids can play snow outside without having a possible incident of frostbite.

I love designing...

When choosing a furniture for your house, there are few things that you need to consider before purchasing an item. We know what wood is the popular materials used for making a furniture whether it's simple or a traditional design but haven't you notice that nowadays modern design furniture are so in at the market like modern benches that you can put inside your house that gives a classical view since it's versatile enough to fit with any style, but of course if you are not sure on what style you are up to in your house, don't think twice to ask someone you know who has a background in interior design or has a passion on it. Speaking of interior designing our house is still on going. Buying decor one at a time... I have lots in mind and I'm excited to execute them.

Snowing

taken a while ago from our bedroom window... i'm so bored, cant go back to sleep and i need to wakeup 2 hours from now. I have urine test at 8am.

I'm no material kind of girl

Ladies love rocks. And not just any kind of rocks, they should be big rocks. Men do have a predicament because it is expensive keeping a girlfriend (he should be gentlemanly of course and at least pay for most of what they spent during their dates) and even more expensive when tying the knot. Of course now that women are more independent, the women help but only a little. The guys have to sometimes give shiny things to make their girlfriend or wife feel special. That’s why those who sell jewelry earn a lot because these aren’t really that cheap.

But material things can only get you only as far as a kilometer in a relationship. To get to the next thousand miles, you need to really trust and care for one another. Trust is probably the most important thing in a relationship. You should trust each other so that the foundation is rock solid and you could last many years. I am glad that I trust my man.

By the way, if you're a jewelry lover you can upgrade your bling-bling and sell old jewelries to Cash4Gold. With their seamless and safe process, you'll surely get the right price when you sell your jewelry online.

think and be resoureful...

Some of my friends’ children are already in college and I always hear complains regarding the price of college textbooks and how expensive they can be. One even had a total amount of $2000! Did they know that with that kind of money, they can send two kids to school in a third world country? Nay, make that around 4 children. Should information be really that expensive? But I guess the funding goes to the scientists and they really do need the money but not all the authors are scientists. There should also be cheap used textbooks - $6 available for students. They are after all just students still and probably don't have income yet.

I guess one best way is to borrow textbooks from somebody else like what my friend is doing. Photocopying isn’t that good because there could be copyright laws that can ban it so borrowing is the best bet. Or save a lot of money. This is why I have savings for my kids already.

mankind's evolution

Have you ever wondered how the cavemen took care of their body and their health? What was man’s first food? I’m guessing it was plants because you could just pick vegetables and fruits up and eat them right away. The cavemen must have disregarded hair care and grew them waist long probably since there were no scissors back then. Man their hair must be pretty messy. But how about teeth? Did they ever go to a San Diego dentist and have pearly white teeth? I reckon not. They probably didn’t even have toothbrush back then and had halitosis. How did they manage to kiss? It is amazing how humans evolved from being barbarians to Albert Einsteins of the world and start appreciating their appearances more. Technology has become something not of a need anymore but more of a what. They didn’t really need tooth brushes back then but now we have teeth whiteners, braces and all! But I guess it’s also for the best of our health too.

de-thatching rakes

Whenever I read Archie comics, these teenage boys would do part time jobs such as mowing the lawn, raking leaves for their dads, rent their stuff or what. But whenever they’re tasked to rake the leaves, they always hide from their parents especially at first sight!

Face it, raking leaves can be a chore and grown men and boys run away from this task. But this is a chance for experimentation and creativity and imagination people! All you need to do is to get an mp3 player and listen to the music. What I do to make it less boring for me is to imagine that I’m doing something else. Like hockey for instance when you’re raking the leaves. Whoever rakes the most leaves and throws them into the bag (goal) will be the winner or something like that. Or you could get a de-thatching rakes then it will now look sci-fi! With a gadget like this, who’d be bored? Plus you would get all the attention of your neighbors and you could show off your pristine lawn!
