Since I've been taking some diet pills for a while now and read reviews on different kinds of diet pills. There's these diet pills with ephedra that mostly used by athletes but later it was banned. It also been used for weight loss, sometimes in combination with aspirin and caffeine. I also read that ephedra has been used as an herbal remedy in traditional Chinese for a long time to prevent and treat asthma and common colds but intake of too much ephedra can cause you vomiting, dizziness and also might lead to irregular heart beat, stroke or death.
